Ultrasonic Rubber Cutting Machine
Our ultrasonic rubber cutting machine cuts rubber with high-frequency mechanical vibration instead of a sharp edge — clean, precise cuts in rubber and other similar materials, with no deformation of the compound.

Rubber parted by vibration, not by pressure
Our ultrasonic rubber cutting machine is a specialised piece of equipment designed to cut rubber materials using ultrasonic technology. The generator converts electrical drive into mechanical oscillation, and the cutting knife vibrates along its own length at 20,000 to 40,000 cycles per second.
Because the material is separated by vibration rather than by pressure, the knife does not have to be sharp and the rubber is not squeezed, stretched or torn. Cut faces stay clean and square and the compound is not deformed — which is what matters on seals, gaskets and profiles where a fraction of a millimetre decides whether the part fits.
The process is dry and cool: almost no chips, no wastewater, no smoke and very little noise, so the machine can sit directly on the production line without extraction or a separate cutting room.
Handheld, machine-clamped or hand-pushed along a rail
The same generator and cutting knife work in three different ways, so one machine covers sample work, batch production and long straight cuts. Nothing has to be re-tuned between them — the head is moved to the configuration that suits the job.
For sheet and slab, the knife is usually clamped on a column so the cut stays square and repeatable. For long strip, hose and profile, the head is carried on a guide rail and pushed by hand at a controlled speed.

The cutting knife is held in the hand for trimming, de-flashing and single-piece work, and for cutting shapes that cannot be reached on a machine.
The head is clamped on a column or a fixture so the knife enters the rubber square and every part comes out the same, piece after piece.
The head runs on a guide rail for long, straight cuts through sheet, slab, hose and extruded profile at a steady, controlled speed.
A knife you replace, not one you sharpen

Replaceable integrated cutting knife
The transducer turns the electrical drive into mechanical vibration, which travels through the horn into the cutting knife. Since the cut is made by vibration and not by a sharp edge, knife wear is slow and the knife does not have to be re-ground.
The integrated cutting knife is replaced as a complete unit — no sharpening, no re-setting of the cutting angle and no long stop on the line.

The same knife on a machine or a robot arm
Knives are supplied in titanium or alloy, with the profile matched to the compound and the thickness being cut. Where the machine does the cutting, the knife is built for mounting on a robot arm, a gantry or a fixed fixture.
Tell us the rubber, the thickness and the shape of the cut, and we will quote the knife together with the generator and the head.
Why a vibrating knife suits rubber
High cutting accuracy
The cut is made by vibration, so the compound is not compressed at the kerf. Dimensional accuracy is kept and the part is not deformed.
High speed, high efficiency
The head cuts at 1–100 m/min and can run continuously. No chips, no wastewater and no smoke are produced, so no extraction is needed.
Clean cut face
The blade does not drag on the rubber, so the cut face is smooth and the surface is ready for the next operation, including bonding.
Easy to automate
The head mounts on a robot arm, a gantry or a fixed fixture, and a start signal is all that is needed to cut — the machine suits automated and in-line production.
Three configurations, one machine
Handheld, machine-clamped and rail-guided cutting all run from the same generator and knife, so one unit covers sample work and production.

Rubber parts, sheet, hose and profile
Ultrasonic rubber cutting is chosen where the part must not be deformed, where the cut face has to be clean, or where the material is too elastic for a conventional blade.
Rubber & elastomer parts
Moulded rubber parts, gaskets, seals, rings and sleeves, cut and trimmed without deforming the compound.
Hose, profile & extruded strip
Rubber and silicone hose, extruded profile and strip cut to length with a clean, square face.
Sheet, slab & mat
Vulcanised rubber sheet and mat cut to pattern, and multi-layer stacks cut in a single pass.
Leather & synthetic leather
Natural and synthetic leather, cut in one pass and with a sealed edge.
Textile, nonwoven & film
Cotton, hemp, silk, knitted fabric, carpet, towels, bed sheets and plastic film — the other materials the same machine is used on.

Moulded parts & trim
De-flashing and trimming of moulded rubber and plastic parts by hand, without cutting into the part.

Rings, seals & gaskets
Rings, seals and sleeves separated from tube and from sheet stock with a clean, undeformed face.

The accuracy and the versatility of ultrasonic cutting make it a valuable tool wherever a clean, precise cut in rubber decides the quality and the performance of the product. The exact set-up depends on the industry and on the production requirement, so each system is built around the part it has to cut.
We provide OEM service for our customers and have strong design capability. Tell us your requirements for ultrasonic equipment — or, if you are new to the field, tell us the material and the application and we will design the solution for you.
For a system that fits first time, send us the material, the thickness, the cutting requirement, 3D drawings where you have them, and a picture or a sample of the workpiece.

The material
The rubber compound or the part you are cutting — natural rubber, silicone, EPDM, neoprene, leather or a textile.
The thickness
The thickness and the shape of the cut, so we can match the frequency, the amplitude and the knife.
Your requirement
The edge quality and the speed you need, and whether the part is cut by hand, in a machine or along a rail.
Drawings & samples
3D drawings if you have them, plus a picture or a sample of the workpiece — a sample is the fastest way for us to confirm the knife.

Questions buyers ask before ordering
What do you need from us to quote a custom cutting system?
Send the material, cross-section and target output; we will design the blade and fixture.
Can it cut carbon fiber reinforced plastic?
Yes — ultrasonic cutting handles CFRP and composites with clean, burr-free edges.
Which materials seal at the edge?
Rubber, silicone and elastomer sections seal at the cut edge; some composites need a tuned blade.
Is robot integration complicated?
We have done many robot cells; integration is straightforward with our standard interfaces.
Send us your rubber for a free cutting test
Send a sample of the compound and the shape of cut you need. We will cut it on our bench machine and reply with the photos, the recommended frequency, the knife and the configuration.
