Ultrasonic Handheld Welder

A portable ultrasonic welding gun for thermoplastics, nonwovens and textiles — 20–40 kHz, 600–1200 W, with the titanium or aluminium horn machined to the size your part needs.

Product Overview

A welding gun you can take to the part

An ultrasonic handheld welder — also called a handheld ultrasonic welding machine or ultrasonic welder gun — joins thermoplastic parts by pressing a vibrating horn against them. Friction heat builds only at the joint face, the parts fuse in a fraction of a second, and there is no glue, no screw and no consumable to stock.

It is the tool of choice when the part is too large to move, the run is too short to justify a press, or the weld points are spread across an assembly. We supply 20 kHz, 28 kHz, 30 kHz, 35 kHz and 40 kHz units and machine the horn to your weld footprint, so the tip matches the part instead of the other way round.

Why INTOP

Six things that separate this gun from a cheap one

One-key start

Single-button operation — no menu to walk through, operators learn it in minutes.

Imported CPU and driver

Controller and drive unit are imported parts, chosen to keep output stable through a full shift.

PID frequency and amplitude control

Frequency is locked and amplitude balanced automatically by PID, so the weld stays consistent as the horn warms up.

Power burst mode

Energy is released in a controlled burst instead of a long hold — less power used than on conventional handheld welders.

Amplitude 0–100 %, 1 % steps

Weld amplitude is adjustable from 0 % to 100 % in 1 % increments, fine enough for thin films and delicate trims.

Dual-frequency mode

Switch between frequency converters in software, with a setting range of ±8 kHz — one gun covers several horn sets.

Specification

Ultrasonic Handheld Welder — model 2000B

The specification below covers the standard 2000B platform. Frequency, power and horn tip are selected together: a 40 kHz gun with a small tip suits delicate trims and thin films, while 20 kHz with a wider tip handles thicker sections and larger weld spots.

Send us the material and joint area and we confirm the combination before you order, then trial-weld your samples and return the parameter set with the machine.

Where It Is Used

Six jobs this gun is bought for

  • Plastic Welding

PE, PP, PVC and other thermoplastics — welding plastic components, sealing containers and assembling parts in automotive, electronics, medical device and packaging work.

  • Non-woven Fabric Welding

Disposable medical gowns, masks and hygiene products, welded without needle holes or thread.

  • Textile Welding

Seam sealing, hemming and bonding of synthetic fabrics where a sewn seam would fray.

  • Automotive Repair

On-the-spot repair of plastic components and interior trim without removing the part.

  • Electronics Assembly

Bonding connectors, sensors and plastic housings where screw bosses are too small or heat would damage the board.

  • Packaging

Sealing blister packs, clamshells and plastic bags on short runs and rework stations.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Which frequency should I choose — 20, 28, 30, 35 or 40 kHz?

Higher frequencies suit small, delicate parts and thin films; lower frequencies carry more energy for larger weld spots and thicker sections. Tell us the material and joint area and we recommend the match.

Can the horn be made to my part?

Yes. Horns are machined in-house in titanium or aluminium alloy from your drawing or sample, then frequency-tuned to the generator and trial-welded on your parts before shipping.

What weld size does one horn cover?

The standard welding diameter is 3–25 mm. Wider tips and special profiles are made to order — send the joint footprint and we quote the tooling with the machine.

Can the same unit cut as well as weld?

Yes. Fitting the cutting blade accessory turns the gun into a handheld ultrasonic cutter for plastic sheet, labels, ribbon and trim.
