Ultrasonic Plastic Welding Machine
Our ultrasonic plastic welding machine J series is built for welding in many different industries — automotive, electronics, medical devices, packaging and textile. We can design and produce the ultrasonic horn that matches your welding requirement.

The joint line melts, the part stays cool
The welding head presses the two plastic parts together and vibrates at 15 kHz or 20 kHz. The joint line concentrates the vibration, the friction melts a thin layer of plastic at exactly that point, and the melt solidifies under pressure in a fraction of a second. No adhesive, no solvent and no consumable are used.
The machine uses high-power NTK transducers. The operating frequency is displayed automatically, the dial gauge is scaled for precise and quick adjustment, and the digital timer sets the welding time to one thousandth of a second. The base can be levelled, so a new fixture is set up quickly.
Generator, pneumatic head and control are one bench-top unit. The tooling that touches the part is the horn, and the horn is designed around your component — that is the part of the system we build to your drawing.
Four models from 1500 W to 2600 W
The two 20 kHz models cover small and medium parts; the two 15 kHz models give the higher power and larger welding area needed for bigger components.

What the J series adds over a basic welder
Frequency and power options
Four models across 15 kHz and 20 kHz, from 1500 W to 2600 W, so the head can be matched to the part instead of the part to the head.
More stable output performance
The output stage holds amplitude as the load changes, so weld depth stays the same from the first part to the last in the batch.
Higher welding efficiency
The weld is completed in a fraction of a second and the head returns immediately, so cycle time is set by the handling, not by the weld.
Automatic frequency sweep
The generator sweeps and locks onto the working frequency of the horn after every tool change — convenient with different horns on one machine.
Up to 200 welds per minute
The production rhythm can reach 200 times per minute on suitable parts, which suits in-line and high-volume assembly.
Energy saving mode
The generator drops to standby between cycles, which lowers power consumption on machines that run continuously.
Digital amplitude set and piecewise control
Amplitude is set digitally and can be stepped during the cycle, so the weld can start gently and finish with full power.
The horn is designed around your part
We can design and produce the customized ultrasonic horn based on your welding requirements. The horn decides how the vibration reaches the joint line, so its face is shaped to the geometry of your component and machined to the frequency of the head it runs on.
Send us the drawing or a sample of the part, the plastic and the joint design, and we will design the horn and quote it with the machine. Replacement horns are produced to the same drawing, so a spare drops straight in.

One machine, several horns
Where one machine runs more than one part, each part gets its own horn. The generator sweeps and locks onto the working frequency of the horn that is fitted, so changing the part does not mean changing the machine.
Horns are supplied in titanium or alloy, with the face machined to your component.
From small electrical parts to large mouldings
One machine covers a wide range of thermoplastics. Tell us the plastic, the joint design and the cycle time you need, and we will match the model, the horn and the fixture to it.
Automotive
Interior trim, lamp housings, clips and under-bonnet plastic parts welded without marks on the visible face.
Electronics & electrical
Power adaptors, plugs, sockets, switches and charger bodies, welded and sealed in one operation.
Medical devices
Disposable and reusable plastic assemblies where the joint has to be strong and sealed, with no adhesive inside the part.
Packaging
Blister packs, tubes, trays and closures, sealed without heat damage to the contents.
Textile & non-woven
Non-woven bags, filters and media sealed along a continuous seam.
Assembled, test-welded and packed before it ships
Generators are checked on the bench before they are matched to a machine, and the finished welder is run on real parts so that the horn, the amplitude and the timer are set before dispatch.
Machines are shipped in export packing, and the horn and fixture are packed with the machine they were tuned to.

Questions buyers ask before ordering
Which frequency for my part?
Frequency is set by part size and material; 15–40 kHz covers most plastics — send the part for a free test.
Time mode or energy mode?
Both — time mode for fixed cycles, energy mode for consistent results despite air-pressure swings.
Can we use our own fixtures?
Yes — bring your fixture or send the drawing; we will match the horn and tooling.
What materials can be welded?
ABS, PP, PS, PC, PA, PET and most thermoplastics, plus non-woven and some films.
Send us your part for a free sample weld
Send a sample of the component and the plastic it is moulded in. We will weld it on our bench machine and reply with the photos, the model, the horn design and the cycle time.
