Ultrasonic Plastic Tube Welding
A matched ultrasonic system for welding plastic tubes and pipes — generator, transducer/booster and horn (sonotrode) supplied as one set. It welds, inserts, bends, spot-welds and cuts ABS, PP, PS, PC, PA, PET, non-woven fabric, nylon and more, with horns custom-machined to your part.

What the tube-welding system does
The ultrasonic plastic tube welding system combines an ultrasonic generator, a transducer/booster and a horn (sonotrode). It is widely used for welding, insertion, bending, spot welding and cutting of plastic tubes, pipes and profiles.
The materials it handles include ABS, PP, PS, SNA, PC, PA, PET, non-woven fabric, nylon and more. Horns are custom-made to meet your welding requirement, so the tool fits the part, the material and the line speed rather than a generic shape.
The whole set is compact and quick to weld, giving reliable, stable joints without adhesives, solvents or added thermal load on the part.

One matched set: generator, transducer & horn
The system ships as a matched set — the generator plus the transducer/booster and horn that turn its output into a weld on the tube.

Ultrasonic generator
The power supply and control unit. Intelligent power control with digital amplitude display; shell in aluminium alloy, panel in 304 stainless steel.
Transducer & booster
Converts the electrical signal into mechanical 20–40 kHz vibration and amplifies it to the working amplitude.
Horn (sonotrode)
The working tool that contacts the tube. Custom-made to meet your welding requirement.
Standard accessories
Converter wire, power wire and control signal interface as standard.
Why the system is easy to run
Taken from the original product record — the points INTOP lists for this welding system.
Less space
Compact footprint that fits alongside extrusion and cutting lines.
Perfect performance, quick welding
Stable energy delivery for fast, repeatable tube joints.
Reliable and stable welding
Consistent amplitude through a production run for uniform welds.
Less thermal diffusivity, easy wiring
Low heat into the part and a simple wiring layout for fast set-up.
Simple and semi-automated adjustment
Easy to set and tune, and straightforward to semi-automate on the line.
Built-in protection systems
From the original product record — the safety and protection functions built into the tube-welding system.
Frequency locking system
Above-frequency-range protection, below-frequency-range protection, wrong-type selection protection, horn-cracked protection.
Constant amplitude system
Over-power protection, faulty-operation protection.
Control system
Wrong-parameter protection.
Others
Interfering-impulse absorption protection, converter and horn damage protection.

What the system welds
From the original product record — the materials and processes this system is used for.

Processes
Welding
Continuous and spot welding of plastic tubes and profiles.
Insertion
Ultrasonic insertion of metal or plastic inserts into the part.
Bending
Local forming and bending of thermoplastic sections.
Spot welding
Point welds without rivets or adhesives.
Cutting
Clean ultrasonic cutting of tubes and thin profiles.
Materials it handles
Typical use
Plastic tubes, pipes and profiles across extrusion, filtration, automotive and appliance lines — joined or cut without adhesives, solvents or heavy thermal load, so the surrounding material stays dimensionally stable.
Custom-made horns let the same generator cover different tube diameters and wall thicknesses by changing only the tool.
Custom tube tooling, built in-house
Because the generator, transducer and horn are machined and matched in INTOP's own workshop, a custom horn for your tube diameter and wall thickness can be produced and verified quickly — without sending the tooling out.

Every system ships with a one-year complete warranty and lifetime maintenance, and the same team that builds the generator also supports the horn, so tooling and service come from one source.

Questions buyers ask before ordering
Which frequency should I choose?
Frequency is chosen by tube size and wall; we select it from your sample for a clean, leak-free weld.
Does it include the horn?
Yes — the welding horn / sonotrode is supplied tuned to the job, or made to your tube profile.
Can it connect to my PLC?
Yes — it can be integrated with your PLC for automated, repeatable welding.
What about spares?
We stock horns, transducers and wear parts on the same production line for fast delivery.
